Glass panel upgrades for Bell helicopters
Here’s something you don’t see every day: This helicopter is the very last Bell 206 Jet Ranger ever made (Bell discontinued the 206 in 2010), and was flown directly from the factory to Maxcraft for a full avionics suite. Despite the fact that this is a brand-new aircraft, there’s still huge potential for upgrades over Bell’s standard avionics package. Maxcraft’s upgrade involved a suite of Garmin equipment including a G500H Integrated Flight Display, a GNS 530W GPS, a SL40 COM, a GTX 327 Transponder, as well as GTS800 and GDL69A weather and satellite tracking systems. We also installed the PS Engineering PMA 7000B Audio Panel.
